PVMGA HANDICAPS
"The purpose of the World Handicap System is to make the game of golf more enjoyable by enabling golfers of differing abilities to compete on an equitable basis... A basic premise underlies the World Handicap System namely that every player will try to make the best score he or she can on each hole in every round he or she plays regardless of where the round is played and that he will post every acceptable round for peer review."
In order for a handicap to be fair, a score must be turned in for every round played, even 9 hole rounds. Scores should not be discarded because the golfer picked-up on a hole. The highest allowable score for the hole should be recorded.
The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club uses the GHIN System for maintaing USGA handicaps.

A member belonging to more than one club must report to the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club their existing GHIN # in order to link all scores and handicaps.
